Over twenty five thousand residents and visitors flocked to the Paseo de la Estación this past weekend for the tenth edition of Elx Street Food Market. The highest attendance was recorded on Saturday, twenty fourth of May, when attendees enjoyed delights from approximately fifteen food trucks offering both national and international cuisine.

In addition to tantalising food options, the event showcased a bustling market with around thirty stalls featuring local crafts, fashion, and design. Seven musical performances enriched the atmosphere, including tribute acts such as Guaraná and Mecano, as well as the group Hermano Salvaje.

The market offered a variety of activities for families, including storytelling sessions, comedy shows, and concerts aimed at younger audiences. The Councillor for Commerce and Hospitality, Caridad Martínez, expressed gratitude to attendees and organisers for their contributions to the event’s success this year.

Martínez highlighted that the extensive culinary offerings and lively entertainment made this edition of Elx Street Food Market particularly enjoyable for all ages, especially featuring local crafts that showcase Illicitana talent.
