In Torrevieja, strong winds exceeding seventy kilometres per hour resulted in a tree collapsing onto a vehicle yesterday. The incident occurred on the busy Campoamor Street, necessitating the intervention of fire services to address the situation. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
As the day progressed, the winds began to diminish and were mostly calm by nightfall. This change in weather provided some relief to local residents.
Residents are reminded to remain vigilant during adverse weather and report any hazards to local authorities.
