La Guardia Civil is conducting an investigation into the death of an elderly man, discovered inside his car on Friday night near La Manga golf club. A private security patrol, performing routine checks, found the vehicle parked on the roadside with one door open. Upon inspection, they discovered the driver unresponsive, with a gunshot wound in the chest.

Next to the deceased, a revolver was located, which may have been the weapon used in the incident. Local police and ambulance services arrived shortly after to assess the situation, but unfortunately, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Reports indicate that he was of Spanish nationality.
