The Guardia Civil has dismantled a criminal organisation accused of carrying out large-scale fraud involving the purchase of fuel and other materials across south-east Spain.
Investigators said the group operated in the Region of Murcia, Almería and Alicante province, allegedly obtaining fuel and various goods without paying the full amount owed. The estimated financial impact of the fraud stands at around 196,000 euros.
According to officers, the suspects used deceptive methods to secure supplies, targeting businesses in several locations. Following a coordinated investigation, the Guardia Civil arrested those believed to be involved and seized evidence linked to the case.
The investigation remains under judicial supervision, and further proceedings are expected in the coming months.
