Hospitality venues across the Region of Murcia have been granted permission to extend their closing times by two hours during the forthcoming Holy Week and Spring Festival celebrations.
The measure has been authorised by the Regional Ministry of the Presidency, Spokesperson’s Office, Foreign Action and Emergencies, and was published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia. It applies to key celebration days in Murcia, Cartagena, Lorca, Los Alcázares and CehegÃn.
On those major dates, certain bars, restaurants and other hospitality establishments will be allowed to remain open until 7am. The extension is intended to support the local hospitality sector and accommodate increased demand during one of the busiest festive periods of the year.
