Four people have been arrested after the Guardia Civil dismantled what it described as a highly active drug dealing point in Los Alcázares. The operation, known as ‘Dimi’, targeted a property that had been under investigation since late January.

The inquiry began after Local Police alerted officers to suspected drug sales from a house in the town. Surveillance revealed a steady flow of visitors, many with previous drug-related records, raising alarm among residents. The property is located close to a school and sports facilities frequently used by children.

During a search involving around 50 officers, investigators seized more than 100 doses of cocaine, 15 grammes of cocaine base, nearly one kilogramme of marijuana buds and about 50 grammes of hashish. They also recovered cash, precision scales and equipment used to prepare individual doses.

Police say the group was led by a couple living at the property, who allegedly used two drug-dependent individuals to handle round-the-clock sales and act as lookouts. All four have been arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking and membership of a criminal organisation.
