Torrevieja Council has approved two leasing contracts to renew the Local Police vehicle fleet, with a total investment of 261,998.88 euros over the next four years. The decision was taken during Local Government Board meetings held on 13 and 27 February.

The first contract, awarded to TRANSTEL S.A. for 197,181.60 euros, covers three fully equipped patrol cars and a nine-seat van adapted for operational needs. The agreement also includes the provision of an additional third key for each vehicle.

The second contract has been awarded to COOLTRA MOTOS S.L. for 64,817.28 euros, including VAT. It provides four fully equipped police motorcycles, an extra key per vehicle and a 30-day reduction in the maximum delivery time set out in the technical specifications.

Both contracts include comprehensive maintenance and will run for four years, with no option for extension. The council says the investment will modernise police resources, strengthen operational capacity and help ensure a more efficient and responsive service for residents.
