The historic schooner Pascual Flores has entered a new phase in its home port of Torrevieja, launching a programme of special guided tours designed to bring maritime heritage closer to residents and tourists. The initiative aims to showcase the importance of schooners in the economic development of eastern Spain during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

Now operating as a floating museum, the Pascual Flores tells the story of the golden age of salt trading and Mediterranean coastal shipping. Visitors can walk across its wooden decks, explore the cabins and engine room, and learn how crews lived and worked during long sea voyages.

Guided tours take place on Thursdays and Fridays at 17:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays at 12:00 and 17:00. Tickets cost 8 euros and can be purchased at tickets.pascualflores.org or directly on board.

The original Pascual Flores was built in 1917 on the beaches of Torrevieja. After a meticulous restoration and reconstruction, it now sails as a training ship and tourism ambassador, representing the town at international maritime festivals across Europe.
