A man whose identity and age have not been released has survived a dramatic weekend road crash along the coast of the Region. He reportedly left the road, struck a traffic light and overturned his car on Avenida del Mirador in Santiago de la Ribera while driving under the influence. Local Police, who posted details on Facebook, say the incident occurred on that coastal street and that officers and ambulance crews treated him at the scene.nnInitial inquiries point to excessive speed and alcohol use, with investigations continuing. The force has urged motorists to drive with responsibility, saying that one’s life and that of others depends on careful choices behind the wheel.nnThe crash underscores the dangers of high-speed driving and alcohol on busy coastal routes. No information has been released about any other casualties, and the driver has survived the impact.
