Almoradà Local Police have detained a driver after reports of irregular driving around twelve thirty last night. Officers observed zigzags and abrupt braking as they stopped the vehicle.
The driver did not hold a valid driving licence and presented a foreign licence that could not be exchanged.
The car’s MOT test had expired.
A breathalyser reading showed zero point nine three milligrams per litre of alcohol in the blood, three times the legal limit. The individual has been placed under investigation for a suspected offence against road safety and will appear before the judicial authorities.
