A twenty-eight-year-old man has been arrested by the Guardia Civil and Local Police in Almoradí, suspected of committing five burglary offences. Four of these occurred during the same night in various homes and vehicles within a residential area. On the night of the twenty-second of October, agents were called after the alarm of a house was triggered; residents reported seeing an individual inside their home. Quick action by the police led to the suspect’s arrest on a nearby street.

Following the arrest, investigators examined evidence from three other burglaries that happened in the same urbanisation that day, and an additional incident a few days prior. It was confirmed that the suspect was involved in three vehicle burglaries and two more in the homes of residents. Authorities managed to recover some stolen items, including many tools, and additional victims may still be identified.

The arrested man has been brought before the Investigating Court Number One in Orihuela, which has ordered his release under certain precautionary measures. The Guardia Civil has highlighted the critical role of community cooperation, encouraging citizens to promptly report any suspicious activity to enable quick police response, thus ensuring the safety and welfare of all local residents.
