The Ayuntamiento of Torrevieja has announced a special operational plan for the celebration of All Saints’ Day, which occurs on Saturday, the first of November. The plan includes a free bus service for residents, starting Thursday, the thirtieth of October, and running until the event day. A total of six bus stops have been designated, which are located at Plaza María Asunción, Colonia San Esteban (in front of Bar Manolo), Televisión Torrevieja, Intercambiador Eras de la Sal, Centro de Salud Acequión, and the Municipal Cemetery of Torrevieja.

The special bus schedule for Thursday and Friday, the thirtieth and thirty-first of October, includes departures from Plaza María Asunción at ten thirty, eleven forty-five, and four fifteen in the afternoon, with return trips from the cemetery at eleven fifteen, twelve thirty, and five o’clock. On Saturday, the first of November, the service expands, starting at ten o’clock in the morning and continuing with buses at eleven fifteen, twelve thirty, two o’clock, four o’clock, and five fifteen in the afternoon. Returns from the cemetery will be available at ten forty-five, twelve noon, one fifteen, three thirty, four forty-five, and six o’clock.

Sandra Sánchez, the delegated councillor for Cemeteries, has highlighted that, as in previous years, a special Local Police unit will be deployed to manage access to the Municipal Cemetery and the cemetery in the La Mata district, as well as to monitor parking areas. This measure aims to ensure a smooth experience for visitors during this important day of remembrance.

Additionally, a special ceremony will take place at the Municipal Cemetery on the first of November, where all attendees are invited to participate in the Holy Rosary at four thirty in the afternoon, followed by the Mass for the Dead at five o’clock. In the La Mata cemetery, the mass will be conducted at four thirty.
