On Saturday afternoon, a car fire occurred on Azafrán Street in Orihuela Costa, close to a wooden restaurant, causing considerable alarm among bystanders. The emergency alert was received at thirteen twenty-two, prompting a swift response from the Torrevieja Provincial Consortium’s firefighters, who arrived on scene with a command unit and a heavy urban pump staffed by five personnel.

Firefighters worked diligently for several hours and managed to extinguish the flames by seventeen hundred. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported as a result of the incident, although the vehicle involved sustained extensive damage.
