Almoradí will celebrate its II Fiesta del Deporte on Saturday, the eighteenth of October, from ten in the morning until half past one in the afternoon at Plaza de la Constitución. This event will showcase local sports clubs offering demonstrations and activities including a body jump session by ISN Gym, a king boxing exhibition from Premium Gym, and a maintenance class for older individuals. The day promises to be open to all, encouraging enjoyment and participation while highlighting the efforts of local sports clubs and coaches.

Carmen Berná, the Councillor for Sports, presented the programme of activities together with Patricia Ruiz, president of the Almoradí Association of Disabled Individuals (ADA). This year, the fundraising from the Fiesta de la Bicicleta will benefit ADA. During the morning, attendees can visit ADA’s charity stand where, for a donation of two euros, they can collect their race number for the seventeenth Fiesta de la Bicicleta. Participants will also receive a bookmark made by the association’s users and a tote bag featuring the new sports logo.

The XVII Fiesta de la Bicicleta will take place on Sunday, the nineteenth of October, starting at ten o’clock in the morning from Plaza de la Constitución. The event will include an urban route filled with surprises, finishing at Plaza Ciudad de Servicios. At the conclusion, participants can enjoy refreshments including a bottle of water and a sandwich, as well as children’s inflatable activities, a gymkhana organised by the Almoradí Cycling Club, and a draw for a bicycle and various gifts from local shops.

Carmen Berná expressed her gratitude to the Almoradí Cycling Club for their involvement in organising the route, as well as to Civil Protection and the Local Police for ensuring the safety of all participants. She invited the community to join in this fun and sporty weekend with family, emphasizing that the goal is to enjoy, share, and continue fostering the sporting spirit that unites Almoradí.
