The Ayuntamiento of Los Alcázares has launched a new scheme aimed at providing financial relief to vulnerable residents. Pensioners and large families can benefit from a reduction of up to fifty percent on their water, sewage, and rubbish collection bills. Applications are currently being accepted and will remain open until Wednesday, the thirty-first of December, twenty twenty-five.

To qualify for this substantial discount, applicants must be on the municipal register in Los Alcázares, hold the contract for water and waste services at their residence, prove they are a pensioner or that their household qualifies as a large family, and be up to date with all municipal payments.

The mayor of Los Alcázares, Mario Cervera, emphasised the importance of this initiative, stating that it aims to ease the financial burden on those who need assistance the most. He highlighted that basic expenses can be particularly challenging for pensioners and large families and reassured that the council is committed to ensuring equal access to essential services.

The Ayuntamiento encourages all eligible residents to apply and submit their documents within the specified deadline, demonstrating their ongoing dedication to social justice and the well-being of those in need.
