This past Saturday, Los Montesinos held an exciting festival that combined tradition, inclusion, and nightlife. The celebrations kicked off at six o’clock in the evening with the eleventh street and door decoration contest, showcasing the creativity of local residents. The participating streets were evaluated by a panel of judges throughout the afternoon.

At seven o’clock, the fair adapted to a soundless and lightless version for one hour, catering specifically to children with hypersensitivity and special needs, marking a clear commitment to inclusivity. As the night progressed, attention turned to the anticipated coronation of the Queens and Ladies of the Patronal Festivities for two thousand twenty-five.

At nine o’clock, a colourful parade wound through the municipality, accompanied by local authorities and the Agrupación Musical Montesinos, starting from the town hall amidst cheers and public joy. The main event took place at ten o’clock in the Plaza Sagrado Corazón, where the official coronation of the new Queens and Ladies took place in an emotionally charged ceremony full of light and symbolism. Abril Espinosa was crowned as the Youth Queen, joined by Blanca Mañogil as Youth Lady.

Sofía Rodríguez received the crown for the Child Queen, with Dana Espí named as the Child Lady. Mª Luisa Gutiérrez was proclaimed Senior Queen, while Josefa Butrón was honoured as Senior Lady. Following the coronation, awards from the decoration contest were presented, recognising the community’s efforts in beautifying the town. The night continued with a live performance from Mr. Hyde, and concurrently, the Barraca Popular opened with the Montesinos Beats Fest two thousand twenty-five, which lasted until five o’clock in the morning featuring sets from Jess Arbide, Ibañez, and DJ López, providing an unforgettable rhythm to the evening.
