The Ayuntamiento of Los Montesinos has launched an initiative to celebrate an inclusive fair as part of the 2025 Fiestas Patronales in honour of the Most Holy Virgin of the Pillar. This year, the fair will feature a special sound and light-free time, specifically designed for the enjoyment of children with hypersensitivity and special needs. The event will take place on Saturday, the fourth of October, and Friday, the tenth of October, from seven to eight in the evening.

During these designated hours, amusement rides will operate without music or lighting effects, creating a calmer and more accessible environment. José Ángel Vallejos, the Councillor for Fiestas, stated that this initiative aims to ensure that all children in Los Montesinos can partake in the fair equally. This event marks a positive step towards the commitment to inclusion in the town.

Mayor José Manuel Butrón also commented on the progress towards inclusive practices in Los Montesinos, noting the recent success of a pioneering music therapy programme launched at the Municipal Music School for children with special needs. This highlights the municipality’s objective of making Los Montesinos a community for everyone.

The Ayuntamiento encourages all families to participate in this unique experience, combining festive tradition with a commitment to social awareness and sensitivity.
