The municipal Parks and Gardens service in Torrevieja has conducted essential maintenance actions aimed at improving the green spaces in the Urbanisation Los Ángeles, located near the urban centre. Recently, the teams worked on the Avenida de las Alondras and Avenida de las Gaviotas, as well as several plazas in the area, including the Plaza de las Águilas, Plaza de las Palomas, Plaza de las Golondrinas, and Plaza de los Halcones. Their efforts included tree enhancement, mowing, pruning, clearing, and thorough cleaning of these vital green areas.

Additionally, maintenance work has been carried out in other districts of the municipality, such as along the CV-95, the hedge on Avenida de las Olas, the hedge on Avenida García Lorca, and Calle Valle-Inclán. The maintenance also extended to the garden situated on Ronda Ricardo Lafuente, Calle Orihuela, and Calle Francisco Pizarro. Another team has also undertaken work on Avenida Tenerife and the hedge on Avenida de París.

These maintenance activities aim to improve safety, visibility, and urban aesthetics while ensuring the preservation of trees and hedges. The recent works have been strongly demanded by both residents and visitors who value the enhancement of their living environment.

Looking ahead, the Parks and Gardens service plans to undertake further actions, particularly focusing on the pruning and enhancement of the numerous palm trees throughout Torrevieja, ensuring sustained care for the town’s green spaces.
