The Town Council of Catral has successfully secured approval from LABORA for a new specialisation in painting as part of its employment workshops. This initiative falls under the mixed Employment-Training programme, known as ‘CAPACITA-T’, and increases the number of specialisations offered from three to four, which includes gardening, masonry, and administrative roles.

This valuable programme is designed for forty individuals from Catral, providing them the opportunity to enhance their skills and gain professional experience. Aimed at young people aged between sixteen and thirty who are registered with the Youth Guarantee as of the programme’s start date, it allows participants to improve their employability.

Those interested in taking part are encouraged to express their intent at any LABORA point by the deadline of the sixteenth of September. Through this new initiative, the Town Council of Catral asserts its commitment to youth education and employment, promoting opportunities for local residents to better their chances in the job market.

With the addition of the painting specialty, the council continues to facilitate pathways for training and employment, helping to equip the younger generation with essential skills in today’s competitive workforce.
