Local Police in Almoradí have recently issued five fines in relation to the reckless use of personal mobility vehicles (VMP) in the area. This enforcement action aimed to ensure safety for all road users. In one incident at the intersection of Calle Canalejas and Comunidad Valenciana, officers identified a young man who failed to stop at a red traffic light. His scooter was confiscated and is pending collection by his parents or guardians.

During preventive surveillance at Plaza de la Constitución, officers noticed two individuals riding together on a single personal mobility vehicle, which is not allowed. The police stopped and identified them, explaining the prohibition before formally issuing a fine.

In another instance, while patrolling, officers detected a personal mobility vehicle carrying two occupants who ignored several warning signals. These youths were subsequently intercepted and fined for violating the regulations concerning this type of vehicle.

The Local Police have emphasised the significance of adhering to traffic rules to ensure the safety of all users. They have also highlighted the potential sanctions that can arise from the improper use of personal mobility vehicles.
