A woman from Puerto de Mazarrón has been placed in provisional custody after allegedly assaulting two local police officers. The incident occurred on Saturday evening when the police were alerted to a potential domestic violence situation. Upon arriving at the residence, the officers encountered the woman, who approached them aggressively.

During the confrontation, she allegedly struck the officers with the iron leash of her dog and incited the animal, classified as potentially dangerous, to attack them. The officers managed to restrain the dog while detaining the woman for assaulting authority figures.

The officers sustained minor injuries, and one officer showed injuries sustained on his arm. Following her arrest, the woman was brought before a judge on Sunday, who ordered her provisional imprisonment pending further legal proceedings.
