Los Alcázares has taken significant steps to enhance tourism by announcing the establishment of a new tourist office situated on Avenida Río Nalón in Los Narejos. This innovative office will operate twenty-four hours a day, combining staffing and cutting-edge information technology to provide services and information to visitors at all times. The office will occupy an area of approximately forty square metres in a vibrant part of the municipality, close to hotels, shops, and restaurants.

The new facility will feature a modern design, including a glass front and air conditioning, aimed at ensuring a fully accessible service that meets the diverse needs of 21st century visitors. In addition to staffed hours, visitors will have access to touch-screen technology for consultations during quieter periods. Councillor María José Díaz Aragón emphasises that this space will be open-plan, offering an inviting environment for visitors to seek information at their convenience.

This initiative aligns with broader strategies to position Los Alcázares as an Intelligent Tourist Destination, where modern technology and sustainable practices coexist. The town hall is committed to fostering a tourism experience that respects the environment while enhancing visitor engagement throughout the year.

Los Alcázares, while being a relatively small municipality, operates two tourist information offices: one in the town itself and another within the seafront district of Los Narejos. Both offices offer qualified staff to assist with recommendations, events, and practical information, ensuring residents and visitors alike can fully enjoy the Costa Cálida and the Mar Menor area.
