A man, aged seventy, has been hospitalised following a stabbing incident in Los Alcázares during the early hours of Sunday morning. He reportedly called the emergency services around three forty am, bleeding profusely from multiple stab wounds to his thigh. The police and an ambulance quickly arrived on the scene to provide assistance.

Sources linked to the investigation indicate that the injuries were sustained during a violent altercation with his son, who is approximately fifty years old. The relationship between the father and son had deteriorated over time, culminating in this latest incident.

The son had allowed his father to reside with him in a property after local authorities had sealed off the elder man’s previous residence due to circumstances that remain unclear. Neighbouring residents reported that the family frequently created disturbances, with recent incidents including threats made by the son and minor thefts in the area.

The Guardia Civil has taken over the investigation to determine the precise circumstances surrounding the stabbing. The son has a notable history of prior legal issues, raising concerns regarding domestic disputes that have allegedly plagued the family for some time.
