On Tuesday afternoon, emergency teams managed to control a fire that erupted in San Javier. The incident occurred in an area known as Casas del Pino, located close to the El Pino II industrial estate. The Central Emergency Coordination Centre received multiple calls reporting the visible blaze at around four twenty-five in the afternoon.

In response to the alarm, firefighters from the Consorcio de Extinción de Incendios y Salvamento de la Región de Murcia were deployed to the scene. Crews from the San Javier fire station arrived promptly and assessed the situation, requesting additional assistance from the Los Alcázares fire department due to the fire’s intensity.

With the combined efforts of both fire stations, firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control, preventing further spread and potential damage. Authorities have not reported any injuries or significant damage at this time, although investigations into the cause of the fire are expected to follow.
