The National Police have arrested three men in Orihuela, aged between thirty-one and thirty-eight, for their suspected involvement in a criminal group responsible for residential and vehicle burglaries. The trio allegedly stole from a home in the city centre while the owner was shopping at a nearby commercial centre.

According to the investigation, the suspects followed the victim from his home to the shopping centre. After accessing the victim’s vehicle by cloning the opening frequency, they took the keys to his residence, allowing them to commit the burglary while the homeowner was away.

The operation began after the victim reported the incident, explaining that he had left his house to go shopping. Upon his return, he discovered his home had been broken into and initially thought he had lost his keys at the shopping centre. However, he received an alarm alert about the robbery.

Thanks to prompt police actions and community patrol assistance, officers located the suspects’ movements within twenty-four hours. They identified the vehicle used in the crime and arrested the men as they left their home, recovering all stolen items and seizing a device used for cloning vehicle remote frequencies during a subsequent search of their residence.
