The fifth edition of Brilla Torrevieja concluded with an exhilarating concert by Colombian singer, composer, and musician Camilo. The event, held at the Parque Antonio Soria, attracted thousands of attendees who were captivated by Camilo’s romantic pop style and hit songs such as ‘Tutu’, ‘Ropa Cara’, ‘Kesi’, and ‘Millones’. This concert marked Camilo’s only stop in the Alicante and Murcia provinces during his tour, further solidifying the festival’s status as a significant player in the national and international music scene.

The atmosphere was electric, with a vibrant audience engaging from the very first note to the last applause. The venue sparkled, quite literally, thanks to top-notch technical production and an overflow of energy from the crowd. Camilo not only delivered a high-quality musical performance but also shared heartfelt moments, messages of love and unity that resonated deeply with his fans, especially among the local Colombian community.

Eduardo Dolón, the Mayor of Torrevieja, remarked that this year’s Brilla Torrevieja demonstrated the city’s capability to host large international events, positively impacting the economy and tourism. He assured that the council would continue investing in events that elevate the city’s cultural and musical prominence. Antonio Quesada, the Councillor for Culture, noted that Brilla Torrevieja has become an essential summer event, bringing together thousands through music, culture, humour, and gastronomy, presenting a varied programme that grows in quality yearly.

Domingo Paredes, the Councillor for Youth, emphasised that Brilla Torrevieja provides a unique space for younger audiences to enjoy international artists and unforgettable experiences in Torrevieja. The festival, which spanned over two weeks and featured more than thirty thousand attendees, has established itself as a summer staple on the Costa Blanca, with a promising outlook for future events that build upon this year’s record success.
