The National Police have arrested a forty-nine-year-old man in Rojales for a crime against public health after seizing two hundred and twelve cannabis plants. The individual was the tenant of a property that operated as an illegal vehicle workshop and hid a cannabis cultivation inside. Local police had previously informed the National Police of potential illegal activity at what appeared to be an abandoned property, where a significant amount of vehicle movement was observed.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers noted a large number of dismantled vehicles, indicating the premises might have been functioning as an illegal workshop. Investigators, alongside agents from the National Police Unit attached to Valencia Community, initiated an inspection of the location, anticipating the possibility of clandestine activities.

During the inspection, officers detected the strong smell of cannabis emanating from an inner courtyard, leading to the discovery of a substantial number of cannabis plants. Following the evidence collected, the police sought judicial authorisation to conduct a comprehensive search of the premises and seized the narcotic substances present.

Following the search, the National Police seized two hundred and twelve cannabis plants and arrested the individual responsible for renting the facilities. Furthermore, officers from the National Police Unit also filed a complaint regarding the irregular activities occurring at the location.
