The National Police has initiated a special deployment on the beaches of Benidorm aimed at preventing crimes such as thefts and robberies. This operation reinforces the security of public coastal spaces, and incorporates land units from the Operational Response Group and the Prevention and Reaction Unit of the Benidorm Police Station. Furthermore, aerial surveillance is conducted using drones managed by the Aerial Media Unit.

With the arrival of summer, the police presence has increased in the busiest beachfront areas of the town. Drones carry out reconnaissance flights along the coast, providing real-time imagery to quickly identify suspicious situations or criminal behaviours. The aerial monitoring is coordinated with land patrols, enabling immediate action when necessary.

Officers from the Operational Response Group and the Prevention and Reaction Unit continuously patrol beach areas, both on foot and in vehicles.
