On Sunday, emergency services in Murcia were called to Terra Natura park after a seventy-six-year-old woman went into cardiac arrest. At approximately seven twelve in the evening, a security guard reported that the woman was unresponsive. Two doctors, along with lifeguards and a police officer, quickly intervened, performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation and using a defibrillator.

Despite these immediate efforts, local and national police units, alongside two ambulances from the Emergency Management Agency, were unable to revive her. The woman had reportedly fainted in the swimming area of the park.

Following the incident, Terra Natura released a statement in which they confirmed that the emergency protocol had been activated promptly upon her fainting. Despite the swift response, they expressed their sorrow that they could not prevent her passing.

The statement concluded with condolences to the family, highlighting the tragic nature of the event and the park’s commitment to ensuring safety for its visitors.
