The Guardia Civil has arrested three individuals suspected of being involved in a shooting that took place in Torre de la Horadada on July second. The shooting occurred in a public area near a local nightlife zone, resulting in serious injuries to two out of five young men aged between seventeen and nineteen.

In response to the incident, law enforcement conducted house searches in the area, uncovering a semi-automatic pistol, various calibres of ammunition, and several bladed weapons. Officers collected vital evidence, including six shell casings and a projectile, to assist with their investigation.

Within twenty-four hours of the incident, police successfully identified the main suspects and the rental car used during the shooting. This operation led to significant legal developments, including five charges of attempted homicide and one for illegal possession of firearms.

The Guardia Civil expressed gratitude for the support from the public, highlighting its importance in advancing the investigation. The police action was spearheaded by the Judicial Police Team of Pilar de la Horadada, with assistance from various regional units and directed by the Investigating Court Number Two of Orihuela.
