Last Friday marked the launch of the first edition of the Campus Experience by the Real Madrid Foundation in Los Alcázares. This exciting event will take place at the La Torre Sports Complex from the fourth to the eighth of August. More than one hundred children, aged between seven and fourteen, will take part in various sports activities, educational dynamics, and football matches, incorporating the values promoted by the Real Madrid Foundation.

Key attendees at the event included Joaquín Sagués, General Director of the Campus Experience, Mario Pérez Cervera, Mayor of Los Alcázares, and Pedro Pascual Lamas, the town’s Sports Councillor. Pedro Pascual emphasized the commitment to fostering sports and personal development among local youth, highlighting the enriching experience the Campus will provide.

The programme includes comprehensive training covering technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of football. Participants will have the chance to share their passion for the sport while learning valuable lessons in teamwork, perseverance, and respect.

Mario Pérez Cervera expressed his satisfaction in hosting the event, drawing attention to the significant impact such initiatives have on grassroots sports and community cohesion. The Campus Experience not only aims to enhance the participants’ sports skills but also serves as a unique leisure opportunity within the town, setting a standard similar to the prestigious training facilities in Madrid’s Valdebebas.
