On Wednesday, the sixteenth of July, twenty twenty-five, a young man was arrested by the Local Police in San Javier following a lengthy chase through the town and nearby areas. According to sources close to the investigation, the suspect was driving a stolen vehicle, which had been reported as decommissioned, and attempted to flee for over thirty kilometres. During the pursuit, he reached speeds of up to two hundred kilometres per hour, endangering the lives of several pedestrians.

The chase ended when the suspect collided with a police patrol car while attempting to evade capture. Eyewitnesses reported that the young man put up considerable resistance when officers tried to apprehend him. Police later discovered that this individual was already wanted in connection with a motorcycle accident that occurred on the fifth of July in Paseo Castillicos, Santiago de Ribera.

In that incident, the young man allegedly rode a stolen motorcycle with a female passenger when he crashed into two cars, managing to escape the scene on foot and leaving the injured passenger behind. This latest incident underscores ongoing concerns regarding dangerous driving and vehicle theft in the region.

Authorities are urging citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, as investigations continue into the young man’s activities and past offences.
