Police in Benidorm have arrested a thirty-seven-year-old man for alleged drug crimes after a routine traffic stop led to the discovery of illegal substances. Officers stopped the man while he was riding a motorcycle and found forty-six zip-lock bags containing a white powder, as well as a bag with ten pink ecstasy pills marked with a television show name and a mask illustration. A small amount of cash and suspicious materials were also found during the inspection.

Following the traffic stop, the Local Judicial Police brigade obtained judicial permission to search the suspect’s home. During the search, they seized over three hundred and seventy grams of cocaine, more than two hundred and fifty grams of MDMA in pill form, and several other items, including inhalants and over four thousand five hundred euros in cash.

The evidence collected supports allegations of drug trafficking activities. The arrested individual had no previous police record and is now facing legal proceedings in the Benidorm Court of First Instance. Officers emphasise the importance of these operations in combatting illegal drug activities in the region.
