A man tragically lost his life due to a cardiac arrest on the Juan Aparicio promenade in Torrevieja yesterday afternoon. The emergency services received a call around eight o’clock, alerting them to an individual in distress on the public walkway, which is a popular area for both locals and tourists.
An urgent response was initiated, with a SAMU (Servicio de Atención Médica Urgente) unit dispatched to the scene. Medical professionals immediately commenced cardiopulmonary resuscitation in an attempt to revive the man.
Despite their extensive efforts, the man did not respond to their interventions and was pronounced dead at the location. His age has not been disclosed to the public at this time.
This incident, occurring in a busy tourist area during the summer, has left a significant impact on those present, causing considerable shock among passersby and beachgoers who witnessed the unfortunate event.
