The Almoradí Town Council has launched a significant renovation project at Plaza San Andrés, which has been suffering from severe deterioration. The works, overseen by the Council’s Department of Works and Infrastructures, involve the demolition of the existing pavement and the installation of new printed concrete. This upgrade aims to enhance safety for pedestrians while also improving the public space’s visual appeal.

The total budget for this project stands at ninety thousand two hundred and fifty-three euros, fully covered by the contracting company without additional cost to the municipal coffers. The estimated duration for the completion of these tasks is two weeks, aimed at minimising disruption for the local residents during the works.

Mayor María Gómez emphasised the importance of renewing Plaza San Andrés, stating it had been a long-standing demand from the community. She expressed confidence that, through this collaboration with the contracting company, the town can offer a revitalised and safe public space within the committed timeframe.

Additionally, this initiative is part of a broader municipal strategy aimed at improving public squares, parks, and access points in the area, intended to enhance local living standards and strengthen the urban environment as a centre for community and leisure activities.
