The Ayuntamiento de Pilar de la Horadada has initiated a new seasonal employment plan, following a grant of two hundred ten thousand five hundred seventy-two euros from the Servicio Público de Empleo Estatal, known as SEPE. This funding has enabled the temporary employment of forty-three local residents, who commenced work this month. The selected individuals include thirty-eight agricultural workers and five foremen, chosen through the Servicio Valenciano de Empleo y Formación, referred to as LABORA.

These workers will focus on cleaning and maintaining public parks, gardens, rural paths, and green areas within the municipality. The contracts for these positions will run from the fifteenth of July until the fourteenth of October, covering the busiest summer months. On their first day, the hired personnel attended an informational session on workplace safety before joining their teams in various locations.

Mayor José María Pérez, along with the Councillor for Employment, Susi Sánchez, officially welcomed the new hires at the Centro Integral de Seguridad. The Mayor emphasised the importance of their commitment and effort, noting that they would represent the Ayuntamiento to the community. He expressed gratitude for their future contributions and highlighted the positive impact their work would have on residents’ quality of life.

This initiative not only enhances the maintenance of public green spaces but also reflects a strong commitment to promoting local employment. Through such government-funded programs, the Ayuntamiento aims to create job opportunities and support socio-economic inclusion efforts in Pilar de la Horadada.
