The Cultural Councillor Antonio Quesada and the coordinator Manuel Esteban Moreno officially launched the cultural programme for September through December Two Thousand Twenty-Five which features an extensive range of events including concerts, theatre, dance, children’s performances, and comedy. So far this year, the Municipal Theatre and the International Auditorium of Torrevieja have welcomed over fifty three thousand attendees across one hundred and three sessions.

This year’s highlights include international acts such as Marta Santos and Antoñito Molina, alongside sold-out performances of La Función Que Sale Mal and Phantom of the Opera. This upcoming season promises to present more than fifty cultural events, setting the stage for a vibrant end to the year.

Among the attractions, the September programme features the introduction of “Estado de Alarma”, a poignant comedy addressing the pandemic. Other notable events include the tenth edition of the Torrevieja Audiovisual Film Festival, new theatrical cycles, and concerts in the park. As Autumn progresses, audiences can look forward to performances by The Flamming Shakers and the Royal Concert Orchestra.

In December, the programme culminates with the classic ballet “The Swan Lake” alongside other musical highlights, showcasing an array of exhibitions displaying works from various artists. With so many exciting events scheduled, the Municipal Cultural Institute aims to keep Torrevieja a vibrant cultural hub throughout the year. Tickets for most events are now available for purchase.
