The Joaquín Chapaprieta Municipal Institute of Culture announces an exciting event this Saturday, June twenty-first, at seven PM. The Siesta Park amphitheater will be transformed into a performing arts space for the first time, showcasing the clown show ‘Bienvenido Nasferatu.’ Presented by the Ameba Teatre company, this performance promises to deliver a blend of absurd humour and farce suitable for audiences aged five and above.

The show is part of the first Street Theatre Cycle, ‘SALpa Fuera,’ which aims to bring culture back into public spaces. The name ‘SALpa’ represents both a cherished mineral in Torrevieja and a type of fish typically returned to the sea by local fishermen. The cycle intends to reclaim the city’s squares and corners as vibrant performing spaces.

‘Bienvenido Nasferatu’ invites audiences into the world of Count NASFERATU during his thirteenth vampiric incarnation, led by Remedios García. The story touches on themes of revenge and resilience, as a woman confronts years of bullying to gain the respect she deserves, reminding the audience of the theatre’s reflection on life.
