On Sunday morning, a thirty-eight-year-old woman experienced a cardiac arrest at her residence in Torrevieja. The Centre for Information and Coordination of Emergencies (CICU) received the emergency call and promptly dispatched an emergency medical unit from the Emergency Medical Attention Service (SAMU). Meanwhile, CICU nursing staff gave instructions over the phone to a family member to begin cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Upon the arrival of the SAMU medical team, they took over advanced resuscitation efforts and employed various techniques to restore the woman’s vital signs. Their efforts proved successful as she was stabilised at the scene.

Following the critical intervention, the woman was transported to the Hospital de Torrevieja with a diagnosis of recovered cardiac arrest, where she is currently being monitored with a reserved prognosis.
