These include robbery with violence, theft from homes, vehicle theft, and fraud involving credit card misuse. Law enforcement has reported that thirty-three crimes have been clarified due to this ongoing operation, primarily involving public thefts and burglaries.

Initiated in early twenty twenty-three, the operation was spurred by a noticeable increase in property offences in Torre Pacheco. The Guardia Civil’s approach involved thorough inspections and surveillance efforts to identify and apprehend those responsible for these illegal activities. Investigators have focused particularly on second-hand shops to trace stolen items and gather leads.

As the investigation progressed, it became apparent that the suspects frequently changed their residences, complicating their capture. They tended not to spend more than two nights in any one location, often choosing abandoned homes or garages for shelter. This tactic proved challenging for law enforcement who worked meticulously to locate and apprehend the offenders.

Following the conclusion of the operation in four distinct phases, the Guardia Civil successfully detained all seven suspects. The overall result has led to a notable decline in theft-related incidents in Torre Pacheco, showcasing the effectiveness of the strategy employed against property crime within the community.
