A beach and underwater clean-up will take place on Saturday, the seventh of June, at Cala del Salaret, located behind Playa de Los Locos in Torrevieja. This event, part of the local environmental calendar, will see thirty volunteers committed to protecting the coastal area. They will collect waste from both land and sea to promote environmental stewardship.

The collected waste will be exchanged for food items as part of a charitable initiative supported by Pescanova along with other local and national partners. The food gathered will be donated to the National Food Bank, enhancing the social impact of this ecological effort.

Organisers invite anyone interested to participate, highlighting the theme: ‘If you feel you owe nature a favour, now is the time.’ This call to action aims to mobilise the community in protecting the natural beauty of Torrevieja.
