The Municipal Institute of Culture has teamed up with the Naval Modelling Association of Torrevieja to launch an exciting initiative aimed at young people. They are organising the first free Naval Modelling Workshop for children aged between eight and fourteen. This workshop seeks to ignite a passion for naval modelling and help foster creativity among the youth in our community.

Participants will learn the art of constructing model ships, yachts, and various vessels, enhancing their technical skills through hands-on experience with tools and construction techniques. This ancient practice not only stimulates imagination but also nurtures creativity as children engage with this intricate craft.

The workshops are scheduled to take place in the Sala de Los Aljibes at the Parque de las Naciones, running every Saturday from the tenth to the thirty-first of May in the year twenty twenty-five. This initiative presents a wonderful opportunity for children to explore a new hobby while developing valuable skills.

Parents must register their children by sending an email to navalmodeltorrevieja@gmail.com or by calling six hundred forty-four, seven hundred seventy-eight, five hundred twenty. The registration period closes on the thirtieth of April in twenty twenty-five, so parents are encouraged to sign up early to secure their children’s spots.
