New signs installed to enforce anchoring ban in Torrevieja Bay

Ports of the Generalitat has installed three large signs at the entrance to Torrevieja harbour to reinforce the long-standing ban on anchoring in the bay. Three injured in two-car collision in Elche

Three people have been injured following a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Filet de Fora street in Elche, according to the Alicante Emergency Information and Coordination Centre (CICU). Seven people, including a child, have suffered minor injuries after part of a hotel roof collapsed in Benidorm, in the province of Alicante. A 32-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly using a frequency jammer to steal from vehicles parked in the city centre. Police believe he is responsible for up to six thefts carried out during March using the same method. Work begins on San Fulgencio flood defence dyke
