The Guardia Civil has rescued a 24-year-old woman who became stranded in rough seas in a rocky coastal area of Torrevieja. A fire at a scrapyard in Orihuela, in Alicante province, has been brought under control, according to the Provincial Firefighters Consortium of Alicante.
