A man has been arrested in San Miguel de Salinas after being caught in the act of breaking into a commercial premises in the town.
Officers from the Local Police surprised the suspect inside the establishment. He was injured while attempting to flee the scene and required medical attention. A patrol from the Civil Guard attended and assumed responsibility for his custody at a nearby health centre, where he remained until being placed before a judge.
The man is being investigated for an offence against property involving burglary with force, as well as a further attempted burglary at another property in the municipality on the same night. The operation highlights the coordination between emergency health services and security forces in responding to criminal incidents and ensuring both victims and suspects receive appropriate attention.
