A 25-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly assaulting his partner at a campsite in Guardamar del Segura, in the province of Alicante. According to sources close to the investigation, the incident took place on Friday afternoon. The suspect is said to have fled the scene in a van following the alleged attack. Eleven people have been rescued from the water after a catamaran began sinking off Tabarca Island, near Santa Pola in Alicante province. Maritime Rescue said it received an alert from the Valencian Emergency Coordination Centre on Saturday evening. No serious injuries after collision on N-332 in La Mata

No one has been seriously injured following a dramatic road traffic collision on the N-332 in La Mata on Wednesday afternoon.
