The president of the Generalitat, Juanfran Pérez Llorca, has announced a €175 million expansion of Torrevieja University Hospital. The project will add 30,000 square metres of floor space and increase the number of beds from 270 to 457. The facility, which cost nearly €4.8 million, will house the offices of water company Agamed and a new university campus.
