The Valencian government has launched a grant scheme covering up to 80% of the cost of replacing combustion engines with electric motors in boats operating in protected natural parks. A vegetation fire that broke out in Benidorm on Sunday afternoon has been stabilised after sending a large column of smoke across parts of the city.
