Falling average spending has shaped the summer season for hospitality businesses in Cartagena and the surrounding area, despite the region’s tourist appeal and its ability to generate activity during the busiest months.
The findings come from a survey by Hostecar, the Association of Professional Hospitality Businesses. It highlights a disconnect between visitor numbers and the amount spent in hospitality venues across Cartagena, La Manga and Cabo de Palos.
