Bathers at Mil Palmeras beach in Pilar de la Horadada, Alicante, were given a major fright on Saturday afternoon when a dead tuna washed up on the shoreline.
The popular beach is frequented by local residents and holidaymakers, including many visitors from the Region of Murcia. No further information has been reported about the fish or the cause of its death.
